Why do anorexics feel cold all the time?!

Question: People with anorexia feel cold because their metabolism has slowed to a crawl. People with hypothyroidism have the same complaint - the body is running on slow-motion and at a lower temperature to conserve calories. In the case of anorexia it is because the body perceives starvation and shuts down metabolic processes to conserve energy for the things it can't do without like keeping the heart beating.

Many of them don't have enough fat on their bodies to keep themselves warm.

because if theyre severely underweight they obviously wont have body fat to keep them warm.

:]

they dont have enough fat to insolate themselves and the lack of muscle and nutrition creates poor circulation

Because anorexics have no fat! Fat is a great insulator.

Low body fat and depressed metabolism from malnutrition. The body is trying to conserve its limited energy and has a hard time reacting to environmental changes.

Edit: Looks like dewdrop beat me by 48 seconds. ;)

lack of protein and vitamins

Because they have very little bodyfat.

because they dont have any fat on their body to block out the cold
