Gain weight from peppers?!

Question: I've been on a pretty strict diet for about a week, and have lost a lot of weight. However, today I wanted to eat one pepperonici pepper (the jar kind) and it quickly turned into twenty+. The jar said they have no calories, but the sodium is sky-high.

Will I gain very much weight back from this slip, or should I just be sure to drink lots of water to flush out all the salt?

You ate 20 pepperoncini? Your poor mouth!

The salt may make you retain some water, but you shouldn't gain weight from them. Considering the effects they may have on your digestion, you could actually lose some weight.

I wouldn't do it again.

thats odd..cuz ussually Peppers HELP me loose the weight
