If I eat 1200 calories and burn 3500 each day, how long will it take for me to l!

Question: Do the math.......3500 calories equal 1 lb of fat.

So if you're consuming 1200 calories per day....and burning 3500 calories daily...then you would have 2300 calories per day deficit. In 1 weeks time.....2300 x 7 = 16100 calories or 16100/3500 = which would be about 4.6 lbs of fat loss.

Looks like this:
+ 1200 (cals in)
- 3500 (cals out) = - 2300 (cals deficit)
But lets make that a positive number for our calculations.

2300
x 7 (days) = 16100 (cal deficit in 7 days)

16100
/ 3500 (cals in 1lb of fat) = 4.6 lbs of fat loss.

it would depend on how much stored fat you have.

take 2500 cal (burned) = l fat lb loss.

so you'll be losing about almost a lb a day.

What exercise are you doing... Pulling a car up a hill?

Actually, you shouldn't have that much of a disparity between the amount of calories you are taking in and the amount of calories you are burning. There are 3500 calories in one pound of fat. It is unhealthy to lose more than one pound a week. Ideally, if you are burning 3500 calories a day, you should be taking in close to 3000. When you take too few calories, it causes the body's metabolism to slow down to the point where it has a negative effect on burning calories. Weight loss is a marathon, not a sprint. Whether its 5 pounds or 50, it will take time and a long effort. Hope this helps.

How much weight? At this rate science will say that you will burn about 16, 100 cals every seven days. This equates to about 4.6 lbs a week. But there is more involved in the numbers. When you restrict calories, your body will adjust its metabolism to account for the decreased food intake. Also, you may lose muscle along with fat. The first week or two of doing this, you should lose a good amount of weight, which will most likely be water. From then on, healthy weight loss will occur at 1-2 lbs a week...IF YOU EXERCISE AND EAT RIGHT. It also matters WHAT you eat. i.e. you can't eat 1200 calories of candy and cake and expect results.

You'll lost a pound a day. But I don't think it'll be physically possible to keep this up for more than 2 days....

Well that depends on how long it takes you to recover from the collapse you would suffer a few days after this regimen.
Studies show it is best to only have a difference of 500 calories, and that it can be harmful if you burn too many without resupplying. A 2300 calorie difference is too great.
Once again, for sustained loss, 500 Calorie difference.

80% of ur bodies engery goes to keeping ur body temp.. therefore to lose weight don't bother so much with exercise... it is in what u eat.. people that go on hunger strikes lose all there weight.. this is not a good idea though they lose weight... but it is muscle weight... a lot of muscle around the heart is loss, this WILL lead to long term problems.. also depends on how big u are..

Best way to lose weigt is to stop snacking, eat 3 healthy full meals and do weight training...
