Can I workout Biceps and triceps on the same day?!

Question: I do bi/tri combination twice a week, but I am afraid whether I can do this combination!
If so,is it ok to do 6 sets to biceps and 6 sets to tris since I do them twice a week? or Is this not enough?

Same day is fine, 2x a week I would not really do. A great way to get the best results is to stick with a routine for about a month, 1x a week do all Biceps then Triceps. The next month switch it up to1x a week Triceps then Biceps, you will notice an increase in difficulty for your Biceps. Someone posted earlier to give yourself 1 min between sets when you should really limit down to only 30seconds. You just need to wait for the muscles to begin to relax and then hit them again. If you are working other muscle groups during your week (which you should be) then you are getting additional training for your arms. Example, bench press, this will require your arm strength to hold and balance the weight. This is why I suggest not doing arms 2x a week as it may be over training.

I do, right after each other dont give rest.

Wow......of course it's OK. I do it all the time. 3 sets of 20 reps for each. including shoulders upper back, lower back

Yeah, it's fine. Rest for 1 min. between sets.

i work them together too. not six sets, but i do work them on the same day for three sets.

I do also. They are not the same muscle.

its fine.

i think i you need the the help of a gym specialist
byt i dont think thats a good idear
can cos muscle twisting

Yeah, it's okay, especially if you want to get huge arms.

You need to pay attention to your body to determine the best frequency of your workouts. If you work out twice a week and find your arms are rested and ready on the days of the workouts, then you can try increasing to three times a week. You need to give your muscles enough time to recover before hitting them again.

Also remember that it's hard to do chest & shoulders without affecting the triceps; and it's hard to do back without affecting the biceps, so you may want to consider changing to do these muscle groups together.

Good luck!

In fact, it is best to do them both the same day. I do a set of biceps then a set of triceps and keep going back and forth.
