What's wrong with my stomach?!

Question: Well, for almost the past week my stomach just seems to be getting larger-- as in fatter. I'm 14 and I'm practically off of my monthly period now. People were telling me that's the problem, but I do not believe so because I hardly gain an ounce the many times before when I had my period (it's been on since I was 8 unfortunately). I haven't changed my diet at all; I eat only healthy foods (many people say I'm too strict). I'm usually one of those people that /give/ advice on health. I do the major workouts everyday. Since this has happened, I've been doing crunches nonstop. My stomach is one of the things that I actually like about my body (what teen doesn't hate their body?). And no, there is absolutely no chance of pregnancy. Please help?

It could be water retention, alot of women notice this before, during or after a period they also suffer constipation around this time. Dont worry it goes away. If you feel bloated try those activia yoghurts but you have to stick to them one a day.

Some people just have really slow metabolisms, and metabolisms change with age. I know people who get fat off of 800 calories a day.

There are other things that cause a rather large stomach, such as cancer, but they all have other symptoms.
