Is it safe to eat one canned tuna a day?!

Question: Well, as a source of protein. I'm doing bodybuilding.

Answers: Well, as a source of protein. I'm doing bodybuilding.

Yes, it should be safe as long as you're eating regular chunk lite tuna and not albacore.

Note: Pregnant women, those that are nursing, or young children should not be eating tuna more than once a week because of the mercury content.

Yes it is safe and a source of protein. Fish is also brain food.

Yes, it's very good for you. Eat the chicken too, (not fried) and plenty of veggies

As long as you mix it half and half with dolphin you should be pretty safe.

It's safe, as long as the tuna doesn't contain too much mercury.

Sure...But don't get the kind that is "dolphin free". A litle dolphin mixed in wil give you a bit more protein.

Nope it has too much mercury in it. You should be limiting your tuna to 2x a week. Mercury poisoning is very painful and hard to treat so try some other form of protein to get the results you are looking for. Good Luck

yes it is...it is incredibly good for you...like you say - protein & its a bonus that it tastes so good!

Yes, why not? I suggest you eat more salmon rather than tuna though, for 2 reasons:
a. tuna fishnets kill dolphins
b. salmon has omega3 and it is even better than tuna healthwise and for your bodybuilding. Omega3 antagonise other fats, so they promote your muscle building.

IGNORE THESE PEOPLE WHO TELL YOU TO EAT DOLPHIN!!! IGNORE THEM,

SAVE THE DOLPHINS!! =(

Eat Dolphin-Free tuna and you will be fine.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with it at all. Most people that live in Asian/Pacific countrys use fish as their main source of protein, and have done so for centuries. I would, however, suggest that you eat the tuna packed in water, as opposed to the tuna packed in oil.
