What would be the best way for me to lose a lot of excess body fat without money!

- I don't want to do anything to full on e.g. running (bad knees)

- I weigh around 80kgs
- my hips are 42 inches
- my waist is 45 inches (where my belly button is)
- above that, where my ribs start I'm 38 inches

- I'm 170cms tall

you can use an elliptical machine for your cardio which is like running without the pounding on your knees. But that requires money so you can do situps and pushups and squats and raising your knees.etc..Also it's all to do with how you eat. watch how much in calories you eat. Try to stick to 2000 at the most. If you have too little calories your body will naturally store more fat kinda like for an emergency reaction. Plus too little calories will make you lose muscle which you dont want at all. eat every 3 to 4 hours. Breakfast being your largest meal of the day. then have something small inbetween that and lunch. then lunch and a snack then dinner and a snack. eat fruits and vegetables work well for snacks. have chicken or fish or steak for lunch or dinner. Watch the fat content and try to keep that to about 30g of fat a day. Also watch your carb intake too if you are not very active then cut down on it. Dont drink sports drinks if your just sitting around. also no matter what DO NOT STOP EATING. Yes it's true, if you starve yourself or even if you drop your calories too low you will lose a lot of weight fast. which is great right? But then you start to eat again and all that weight will come right back instantly and faster and you usually end up even fatter than you were. if you need any other help let me know my screen name is ktmjames2004 oh and im 21

well take early morning walks and cut back on the junk food. it works for me!

Workout tapes work wonders. I have one called Slim in 6 by Debbie Sieber's. Or there is one called Yoga Booty Ballet. That one looks like fun. An exercise program needs to be something that fits you and what you need to work on. Crunches and squats and hello dollys, and faced paced walking all work too. Its hard to say what you should do since I'm not you, but I hope you find something that works!!!

walking is a good start. do you have a neighborhood where you can walk? or can you visit the high school track after school is out? (i know you're 22...but the school in our area lets ppl come use the track anytime school is out.) besides walking, you can do your own aerobics/dance workout in your home. just make it up as you go. you can do crunches, etc at home... i can't think of anything else.

eat less and you will end up saving money because well... your not eating as much so you dont buy as much food.

Go jogging around your neighbourhood do some sit ups and maby some push ups.

Diet there is a show on the BBC called you are what you eat or something like that. Control your diet and control your weight. It may not taste as good in the beginning but it will get better and you will feel better,

Not buying food costs no money.

Walking is the best exercise. If you have the money to spend, a treadmill has shock-absorption technology which will dramatically decrease the stress on your bones and joints, compared with walking on solid ground.

10,000 steps a day and a conscious effort to watch calorie intake and meal times. That's it!

Go vegetarian for 3 to 4 days a week while the rest you can eat whatever food you want without getting too full. Eg. 1 day on vegetarian another day on whatever other food, next day vegetarian and carry on from there.

I have diabetes and I will tell you that a low carb diet counting carbs is the only way to go......rich veggies and protien like meats and veggies....if a teenager than cut out all the sodas with high carbs and chips,cakes etc....if your hungry than take a healthy walk for 20 mins than eat a friut....buy as book that tells you how to watch carbs and how many for meals and snacks...it works.

Drink lot and lot of water
Eat lot of green leaves
Running is not an option ? Dont worry - walk, walk walk - do that brisky.
Avoid red meat, do not smoke, do not consume alcohol
Exercise
See your doctor regularly
Join a weight loss program at a reputable place where they have a team of dieticians, personal trainers etc.

I've recently been on Sparkpeople.com. Its really great and yes its free. You should start by tracking what you eat every day....your calories, fat, carbs and fiber/protien intake. Most people eat more than they need. When I started tracking my food I was really surprised to see I was eating tons more than I thought I was. The fastest way to lose weight is to keep your cal.'s at 1200 or less per day, keep your Fat at 25 gr. or less and do a little exercise. Like take a 20 minute walk every day or something.
