Do I have an image disorder, or can a size 4 still look fat?!

Question: Do I have an image disorder, or can I still be chubby in a size 4 jeans?
I've lost about 40 pounds, I now weigh around 133 and wear a size 4 jeans at most mainsteam stores (American Eagle, Express, etc.). I'm 5'6".

Sometimes I still feel like my thighs are pretty fat. Intellectually, I know the size is small though. Can you still have fat thighs and be a small size, or am I just develping some disorder.

A size 4 is nowhere near fat :(

You probley still have alot of loose skin. Give your body time to let the skin adjust to your new size. Also its possible that you might need to tone your body with some weight lifting.

I am also a size 4 and sometimes feel the same way. I'm starting to think that maybe I just need to tone up the "fat" areas (thighs, tummy) and that will change my image.

No your not developing a disorder. Your just concerned about how you look. And that is ok. At 5'6" and 133, you are by no means fat. Im 5'0" and would love to weigh 133. But, to answer your question about the thighs. You just have healthy thighs. I'm sure they are not fat though. You are perfect and as long as you believe that then everyone else will to.

you dont have an image disorder. the size is not small, and you need to lose more

i feel the same way some times. i wear a size 4 but i still think my thighs are chubby. dont worry about it size 4 isnt fat at all.

I'm a size 5 at 5'8 and I often think I still have some more to lose, even when other's say I am "too skinny".

But over a few months I've come to realize that I don't need to lose any weight, but can target the areas I'm still not happy with through resistance training. In other words, I don't need to lose weight but I'd like to gain muscle in order to shape my tummy, for example, the way I'd like it to look.

But it has taken me a while to realize this, because for the longest time I still thought I was "fat".

The body is a beautiful thing. Everyone's is unique.

Maybe thinking that you're fat when your not may be the beginning of a disorder, but not necessarily. You may just be unhappy with certain aspects of your body that you CAN change through exercise. It just takes some time to realize this for those who were once a bit overweight, and even for some who have never been overweight to begin with.

Good luck!

You just just be proud of yourself that you lost 40 lbs. Be grateful. You don't sound fat. 133 lbs. isn't that much for your height. There's this girl who is like 5' 2'', and 130 something. She doesn't look fat, so you must look even skinnier than her. And bigger thighs look good, not bad. Most women are supposed to have some thighs to them.

If you wear a size 4, that should mean you have a 25-27 inch waist. That is not fat, that is slim.

size four jeans are not fat!

your not fat!
