I would say 10-15 minutes(non-stop) 2x a day, 3x a week. After you get the handle of it you might want to increase the duration of you workout and maybe add a day or two.

If you do it twice a day then i would do my first one in the morning, then you second one between lunch and dinner. Don't do it at night as it may disturb your sleep.

Also, make sure to jog up and down the stairs, not sprint.

Dont do it, u will look like a retard running up and down the stairs? And u might fall and kill yourselft. THats not good!

Hey you know what a half hour a day up those stairs and est veggies sometime soon u will have the energy of a 4 year old.

The max at most gyms is 30 minutes. Duration is a factor but more importantly, intensity. Have to make the settings hard enough to be challengingi.e. get the heart rate above 80% of max

For someone who is just starting in that area, a good amount would be around 10-15 minutes.

After doing this as a routine and using those muscles more and more, I would suggest at least 30-45 minutes

If you want major muscles in the legs, go for an hour at least.

Stairs are HORRIBLE for your knees!!!! Try doing a different workout such as running, or doing push ups! Please do not continue to do stair workouts!!!!! Hope this helped!

I used to do stairs,,,,,,,,,,,, Up two down two up three ,,,, down three Up four down four............ Do you get he point I call them Stair ladders........ I used to do them on a football field when .....I was much younger... Every five yards and back. It will make you get much tighter.........
