When i should drink water???!


Question: I heard it's not very good to drink water before or right after you eat.....
is this true??

i guess i kind of believe it since when im full, and i drink water, my stomach bloats even MORE

You should try and drink water consistenly throughout the day. 6 to 8 glasses a day is the recommended amount. Another good idea is to drink a couple of glasses of water before you begin your meal to increase satiety levels, meaning there is less chance of you over eating. Not really. You should always be drinking water. Just try to not drink as much when your eating if it makes you become bloated.

Drink water before you eat, it's a good way to lose weight since you wont be able to eat as much.

They say that drinking water around the time you've eaten can dilute the gastric juices in your stomach and make it harder for you to digest food, so I would limit your water intake around meal times, but it's not such a big deal i don't think.

drinking too much water before a meal dilutes your stomach acid.. which causes poor digestion. it is also possible to overhydrate your body cells...but that's rare. If you're thirsty.. you're body is trying to tell you it needs fluids... it could also be an electrolyte problem... you might want to check into that.

people belive that if you drink 8 oz of water 20 min before a meal you fill up your stomach and therefore do not eat as much. It doesnt seem to work for me though. Other than that, all the time, since when you realize you are thirsty your body is already starting to dehydrate.
