Omg, I just ate about 3000 calories today and i feel really fat...?!


Question: Am i going to gain any fat? I have been excercising for about 4 weeks straight and I finally had a cheat day. I ate so much food today, will i get fat? i feel so bad...

no u wont.Dont worry about it.Its just a cheat day.In cheat day i sometimes eat baout 4000 calories/day.Its not gonna hurt you.

Yes you will likely...start drinking water and some high fiber to help move it from your system.

You should never have a cheat day. Period.. why you ask? for the reason that you ate 3000 calories. Means you have no control of yourself.

You probably won't get fat because of that one day, BUT you just killed all that hard work for the last 4 weeks by eating so much crap. Though if you continue to eat that much more often, you will get bigger.

people have set backs all the time.... learn from it and move on. you cant change what's already done. honestly I dont think it'll matter that much this one time. you didnt ruin all your hard work.... it would take a lot more than this one time of cheating to ruin 4 weeks worth of hard work. just get back up and start again and try not to have any more cheat days like this.... :)

And stop starving yourself. You won't be so inclined to pig out if you're not hungry.

Its all good, just don't do it every day. Drink plenty of H2O and eat some veggies.

What I did {this worked for me} I read to multiply your weight by ten and that is how many calories you should eat a day, but don't let these calories go to waste by eating junk food, eat a salad and definitely go to subway you will get enough food with less calories and it will be healthy, and i ate a salad every day {f.y.i. i love salads} but put different things in your salad so you wont be eating the same thing every day...keep on exercising and eat healthy and you will be on your way...Good Luck!! :]

no...you will not get fat. i eat heaps sometimes but the next day i decide to eat a little less then i would usually eat on a normal day to compensate for the day before. Its fine and i still stay the same weight.

But seriously dont worry about it, the best thing you can do is to never look back and just forget about the bad days, and remember there is still tomorow. Just focus on been healthy, eating right and exercizing, you will be a much happier person.

One day won't ruin your diet. Stop obsessing. If you are exercising a lot you might need that many calories anyway.

If you are on a weight loss diet it is a good idea to plan for some food treats two to three times a week; this reduces the chance of a cheat day. Treats are planned so you eat just the treat and no more. Treats should be 100 calories or so -- two Oreos, "single" chocolate bar, 1/2 cup frozen yogurt, chocolate pudding cup, etc.
