Bulimia is when a someone is so worried about her weight that she binge eats excessively large amounts of food in a short period of time. Feels guilty. Then purges (throws up, laxatives etc.). They are lack control in there eating binges. The result is that she loses weight, but becomes sick. She will be lacking energy and her hair and skin will suffer. As well her teeth from all the acid from her vomiting. Heart failure can happen, as well as the stomach rupturing from all the binging.
Anorexia is when someone is so obsessed with the numbers of calories and food they consume, they drastically cut out calories and sometimes entire food groups. They have an intense fear of gaining weight and a distorted body image. Some begin excessive exercising as well to help lose weight and pretend to be healthy. They will become sick because of the pressure they are putting on there body with day-to-day life, as well as exercising, all on a minimal amount of calories which restricts foods need to give energy. It can damage their organs, blood rate and pressure, heart failure, and brittle bones.
anorexia nervosa is when girls starve themselves for fear of becoming fat , they become obsessed with counting calories, and food consumptions some have to be hospitalized and others die. when an anorexic girl looks in the mirror she sees a fat girl and becomes more depressed and becomes more driven to starve herself....
