How can i gain fat? Not weight (muscle). I mean fat.?!

Question: i want to become fatter than i am and i decided that although there might be health risks, i want to go ahead and do it.

i am a 13 year old boy who is 5'7 and 117 lbs. I can spend 10 dollars a day and i have access to a mcdonalds, a subway, a starbucks, a smoothie shop, and a few pizza parlors. Please help me figure out a menu to use.

btw: only leave comments helpful to my cause (no "i think you shouldn't do this for your own good") because i've been through this talk with myself

THANKS ALOT! :D

Pizza is the way movie stars put on weight. You can usually eat a whole pizza if you work at it ( 3,000 calories which is almost 1 pound of fat ). Don't move much and you'll put on the weight.

you can have some of mine! lol

You need to gain weight, it's very simple. You need calories rich food yet healthy, please don't eat fast food because it's killing millions of people slowly. I would say eat, add, peanuts daily, each about 200 to 300 grams and see what would happen after 6 weeks.

If you want to gain weight, you need to increase your caloric intake. Eat healthy, though.
I don't reccomend eating fast food--however Subway is OK. Eat healthy food. All fast food joints provide food of very low quality which is high in calories and fat but have very little nutritional content.

Also, protein shakes will help you build muscle, thus gain weight.

Milk, peanut butter, bread, meats. These are you windows to weight gain.

I wouldn't do too much pizza, the smoothie shop is your best bet. Get a smoothie and a power bar every day in addition to what you would normally eat. You could put on about 5 pounds each month that way.

Gain fat by eating more foods, but not unhealthy foods. You can gain fat and still be healthy. Just up your current intake by like 800 calories or something. I don't reccomend McDonalds. Maybe have a foot long sub after school, and then a hefty dinner. Eat a large breakfast and a large lunch. Snack a lot, but remember to keep the foods healthy. You'll still gain the weight you want, but you won't have to deal with all the health risks. Good luck!

You can try some things to slow your metabolism (such as avoiding physical activity), but eating more food may not work. Gaining significant amounds of fat is actually impossible for many people. Studies done on humans have tried to make thin people fat (and fat people thin) and have largely been unsuccessful. In weight-gain studies, people would gain some weight, but then their bodies would compensate by adjusting the body's chemistry and metabolism (just as when people try to lose weight, their bodies often compensate, even if they continue to eat healthy and exercise). In one study, a person was eating 10,000 calories a day and still not gaining a pound! All stereotypes and advertising aside, our size is largely determined by genetics (estimated at 60%-80%). Most people have a small degree of wiggle room, but you can only reach the top of the range your individual body will allow, especially when it comes to longterm change.

For what it's worth, I have a masters degree in public health and am a certified health education specialist.

When I was younger and needed to gain weight, I ate peanut butter and bananas for snacks. I also drank ensure. It helped me. Since peanut butter is out for you, maybe ensure or boost will help.
Exercising may help increase your appetite. Maybe you can eat more often.
