BMI Categories:

* Underweight = <18.5
* Normal weight = 18.5-24.9
* Overweight = 25-29.9
* Obesity = BMI of 30 or greater


You are already underweight, you do not need to lose weight. My BMI is 17.2 and I'm 18, but I know how you feel for wanting to lose weight... just eat healthy and work out if you feel you are not your ideal size. Just don't lose weight, it probably is just your body you are not satisfied with, but you can tone it up and it will probably look fine.

But, you may not be necessarily under weight, because at age 15, you aren't fully developed and usually different than an avergage adult.

I highly suggest Spark People or Spark Teens. It's great, I've used it, and I'm in great shape now. They are so helpful and I highly suggest them.

Some other great diet plans are Weight Watchers and Curves. There's even Weight Watchers online. I haven't used it, but my 16 year old niece, Claira did and she lost 30 pounds in 4 months.

I also suggest creating your own diet. I did this, and I lost tons of weight. What you do is, you make a schedule for Monday, Tuesday, and so on through Sunday. Mark down everything you do, like going to school, what time you have breakfast, ect. Right down what you eat for that day. In your free time, add tons of excerise, and maybe a few times a week time for computer and watching TV. Remember, if you miss a day, DONT SWEAT IT. Don't say "oh I'm gonna quit now." No. Don't. Just start right back up the next day.

Warnings:

Don't do those Green Tea diets. Green tea is great for losing weight, but don't do those kind of diets. Buy normal green tea from your supermarket, and drink a cup a day instead of 10 cups a day.

Don't do one of those diets where special food is delivered to your door. My 25 year old sister did one of these. She lost 50 pounds and felt so good. But then she stopped, went back to her normal eating habits, not eating the special food, and gained it right back up. Use a diet where you are learning things! And god knows what's in those meals they send you!

Don't use those diet pills. They're bad for you. Very bad.

So basically, the way you lose weight is by burning more calories then you eat. Simple. But in some ways, its much harder than that. Eating healthy isn't the only thing you need to do. You got to get off that computer, and get moving! Here are some ideas:

*Dance Dance Revolution! This game is so much fun, and it really gets you moving and it burns tons of calories. I used it when I lost weight, and it's great. It's a great workout for when its raining or thundering outside. You can buy it for Wi, PlayStation, GameCube,and Xbox. If you don't have any of those, they sell some you can connect to your TV instead of a Game System.

*Jogging and running and walking. It's fast, easy, and simple. If you don't like running, just walk.

*Exersize Machines: Steppers, tredmills, here I come!

Eat remember, it healthy. Eat tons of veggies and fruits.

ABS Diets. Buy the book. It's not exactly a diet since you will be full most of the time but it works and you'll lose a lot of fat quickly and permanently. ^_^

Eat less, exercise more. Burning more than you consume is key.

A BMI of 18 is already in the healthy range but is getting really close to low. I would suggest toning up instead.

the best thing to do is really just to exercise for about an hour everyday and eat healthy. otherwise the diet wouldn't be healthy for you and you would just gain the weight back in a couple weeks.

OK....there is this book/diet called ,"21pounds in 21 days",my aunt has tried it and worked!So i recomend it!

Stop eating is the fastest way, but also the most dangerous however it does answer your question.

Best idea is not to diet specifically, but simply reduce your fat intake and replace it with things like fruit. Bananas are very good for giving you energy and making you feel fuller.

Combine that with exercise and you'll lose it in no time at all at your age...! Wait until you hit 30, then it's harder. :)

Cut down on foods but still eat veggies, fruit, meat/protein, and excercise as much as possible
keep doing this and you should lose some weight ..

well i know some tricks but i don't think someone should use them but you could stop eating carlories and learn to count them but idk i can't even count to 20 sometimes but if you want to go the bad way that is short use cold water more then you usually do and don't eat as much, but i think you should stick to learning to count it.
