Drop 10 pounds.. will this work?!


Question: I plan on going to LA fitness three times a week. everytime I go.. i work out for half an hour and run/cycle for about 3 miles. I want a way or some kind of fitness plan to loose 10 pounds. I Eat very healthily already so there isn't much i could change. How long do you think it will take for me till i loose 10 pounds? Are there any specific excersises or machines i can use?

Sweetie, I'll tell you what. How long did it take you to put on 19-20 pounds? It will take you about that long to loose it effectively.

You put it on probably by becoming a couch potato. So it is good you have changed that. You also put it on because you began eating the wrong stuff (like all the wonderful fast foods, pizzas, chips/dip, etc.) You probably had your share of sweet stuff too.

By dropping fats from your diet should help tremendously. All oils and stuff fried. No red meats. Eat gobs of skinless chicken and fish broiled baked...never fried. Cut your carbs to one each meal( if it is white it's a carb). Fill up on green veggies....raw or cooked. Use Molly McButter for flavoring.

Remember, everything has a calorie. That is a measure of energy, or fuel for your body to run on. If you take in more fuel than you burn, it will be stored as fat for a later day when your body isn't getting enough food, or for when you begin to burn more calories than you take in.....it will then begin to burn the fat it has stored. Get it? Learn to read labels. Don't eat more than 1500 calories/day and you'll do fine. You gained the weight because I'll bet you were eating 2000 or more calories/day. An average McDonald meal is about 1200 calories for just one meal!!!!!

Keep working out. Keep eating as above and you'll lost your weight in no time. A safe loss would be 1/2 to 1 pound/week.
Just think, you have 4 and 1/2 months till June. That's about 18 weeks. A pound a week would be 18 pounds....yea....
Could be more than that if you work hard.

That's great but remember, stomache muscles take only a day to rest then you can excersize them again.
For other muscles it's either every other day or less.
What you're doing is fine, just make sure to split your workout into sets.
That is, split your workout and take a 30 second-1 minute break. For cycling you don't need to take a break.
And do not drink before, during or immediatly after a abdominal excersize.
