Question: ok, i wanted to start "working out", and by that, i dont mean going to the gym, i just mean doin sit-ups and push-ups and a few other things...but will eating a lot of candy make it not work? cuz i do eat a lot of chocolate wen i can get my hands on it...but i don't get any bigger from it, so im still pretty skinny...so will i still be able to "work out" and get some results?

eating candy during the day shouldn't affect you if you have a metabolism that is moving rapidly. When I was 14, I ate candy everyday.. In fact, I used to go to the corner store and spend half my lunch money on it. At your age, unless your parents live the lives of "the Simpsons" and sit down in front of the TV with TV tray and TV dinner or if you eat really late at night huge plates of food with lots of mac and cheese and never move, you should be fine doing what you do. But only thing i say to you is, candy robs you of nutrients your body needs, be sure if you are working out that you feed your body what it needs... take a multivitamin or drink some vitamin water. Candy in large amounts will not show up on you now, but it will later in life if you lack the natural things your body needs.

if you can't resist chocolate just don't buy any

thats not a habit i would continue with. it might not affect you now, but once you get older and your metabolism slows a bit it will make a difference. because for people with normal to slow metabolisms, eating the bad food in somewhat high amounts basically cancels out the exercise. so they never notice a difference.
