Suggestions for what to drink when dehydrated?!

Question: Lately I've been feeling reeeally dehydrated and I've been drinking a lot of water and Juicy Juice. But I'd like something a little more flavorful than plain tap water, but not as heavy as regular juice. Any suggestions?

Please, don't suggest Gatorade or Powerade- too sweet for my taste.

Water with a little lemon or lime in it is good. You can also squeeze some raspberries or something in them.

You can also make iced tea from white tea.

Too much juice isn't good for you. It can actually contribute to dehydration by making you go "number 2" too much, which strips your intestines of water.

Water is the best... by far... for dehydration.

And cut out salt and sugar.

Good luck!

OOOOhhhh. I just thought of something. If you have excessive thurst, you need to be careful that you aren't turning into a diabetic. Are you overweight? Does it run in your family? Also, if you ARE turning diabetic... the worst thing you can do is quench your thurst with juice and soda.

If you are very thursty and if you are peeing a lot, you need to get to the doctor on Monday--especially if you've had some recent weight loss.

Bottled Soda water works for me OK it can be a bit gassy but it curbs my thirst especially since i keep at least two bottles in my fridge at any given time,OK its tasteless to a degree but it beats bland H2O anytime good for the bladder too, hope this helps.

Drink plain water. Eat a banana for the potassium and magnesium.

What about really cold filtered water? There really is nothing better for your body than water. Our bodies need water for survival. You are not going to replenish your body with Juicy Juice which is loaded of sugar. You say that you would like something more flavorful, well, you can add real lemon or lime to your filtered water if you must, which is really healthy anyways because they are natural diaretics. Also, try cutting down on sugar, caffeine, and alcohol which can also lead your body into dehydration.

Water with a bit of lemon or lime, or you could drink organic cranberry juice, or lemonade and add a lot of water to it.

Maybe you should try some protein smoothies... might help you with your dizzy spells, too!

maybe try different herbal teas, and try mixing water with lemon juice (not like lemonade with tones of sugar) it tastes gorgeous. and maybe eat a bit more, that could be a reason.(just guessing because your underweight)
