What does Stretching do for your body?!


Question: hey, i was wondering, people say stretching is so good, but for what? Just to stretch your muscles? I know it helps you become more flexible, but what else does stretching do? Does it make you become skinnier? Why is it so good? Thank you so much!

Stretching is part of a balanced physical routine. Done properly, it helps to prevent injury, especially cramps. If you do do a 30 minute workout, for example, warm up for 5 and then gently stretch the muscles you are about to work. Never try to stretch cold muscles. At the end, incorporate stretches into 10 minutes of cooldown. It's OK to stretch before getting out of bed, if you're warm, or in a whirlpool. Yoga stretches can be very beneficial. It may not make you skinnier, but stretching can improve your posture and then you will look thinner and carry yourself like a thin person.

it makes scabs or skin come off when u don't know it

stretching is good because it help your blood circulation,it is also an exercise for your muscle especially if your too busy to go to a gym.

I think stretching is good for your body because your bones will be less stiff later on in life. i dance, and stretching really helps me relax and "wake" myself up. i doubt it makes you skinnier.
