I've lost 85lbs in about one year. I was diagnosed with type II diabetes about a year ago. A nutritionist put me on a diet. 60 carbohydrates at each meal 3 times a day. Two snacks of 20 carbohydrates. Total calories 1800. I worked my way up to walking 30 minutes, elliptical 30 minutes, and biking 15 minutes. I still need to lose 30 more pounds. It is coming off real slow now no matter how much I exercise. Good luck Its hard work
PS One meal a week I cheated and ate whatever I wanted, it helped stick to the diet.
