I've been asking the same types of questions lately, too.
Just eat right and stay active is what I've been getting.
I've lost 2 lbs. in the last 3 days. Ran 3 miles every other day and ate the good stuff.

You cannot target fat loss except through surgery. A diet with 5 small meals a day and plenty of exercize is your best bet to loose fat, and not muscle.

counting calories, watching portion sizes, good combination of all food groups, and exercise.

My opinion of course. It works for me.
