Whats the best way to build myself up so i can do more press ups?!


Question: at the minute i can just about manage between 10 to 12. its very annoying as i can't sseam to be able to do more.

You need to strengthen your pecs and triceps. The best way to do this is to get a barbell and weight bench, and do high weight/low rep bench presses. This will build up your chest muscles, and you should see fast progress in how many push ups you can do.

High weight/low rep means use as much weight as you can where you can only do 6-8 bench presses before your muscles fail. Do 3 sets of this once a week and get a lot of protein in your diet.

dont worry bout it at all, 10-12 is a good amount to be dong, just kep going at it and try to do 2 more every 2 weeks. after about 5 more weeks you should be up to doing 20 if you push yourself. but never push yourself too far.

go through the pain. when your ready to drop scream out a few expletives and push on for one or two more.
