Exercise routine?!

Question: If I spend 30 minutes on the treadmill, 15 minutes on the eliptical machine, 15 minutes on an excercise bike, and then 20 minutes of yoga daily, would it be possible to lose ten pounds by march?

definetly but you have to eat a very clean-low fat low carb diet too.

yes, i think so. but don't ruin all your hard work by eating fatty food!

Well, it really depends on the intensity of the workout and your calorie intake. I personally think that it'd be perfectly possible if done correctly, but I'd need more details to say for sure. You're certainly on the right track though.

Your kind of doing too much stuff for too little time. Just try to stick with one for like an hour or so.

Yes but also cut down on the size of the portions you eat , not by much just cut down .

First, you should be thinking quality over quantity. There's no need to be doing over an hour a day. And be sure to emphasize the largest muscle groups (e.g. thighs, butt, chest) since they'll burn the most calories 24/7 while you're not working out.

Next, buy a heart rate monitor for under $50 at Amazon, Google "fat burning zone", and workout at the appropriate range.

And when you consider 60 minutes of gym cardio at average intensity burns 400-600 calories, you can nullify this with a half pint of ice cream. So most importantly, watch your diet: lean protein, slow burning carbs (veggies or whole grains), healthy fats (cold water fish or olive oil). Try to eat 5 or 6 smaller meals (divide your daily recommended calories by 5 or 6 to set a target).

Stick to this basic plan. Avoid fad diets. Aim for 2 lbs/wk. And you're golden!
