Diet....who did atkins and does it work?!


Question: I need to drop 15 lbs. FAST. I run and I bike, however lately (due to a new job and a longer commute) not enough. I typically eat well and all organic. Yet I put on 15 LBS. I am going to a unexpected vacation to Jamaica and would like to fit my old bathing suites. Atkins seems to be working on Bloodtype 0 and I feel better with protein. If I eat tons of veggies I get bloated. Any ideas? OOPs and I only have three weeks to get this done......

The Atkins diet can be really dangerous. My mom did it--she lost 50 lbs, tried to go back to eating normally and healthily and put ALL the weight back on even more quickly than she lost it. To lose weight quickly, drink lots of water, load up on the whole grains and veggies (not so many that you get bloated), stop eating after 7pm, and most importantly cut everything that you eat in half. Instead of one bag of chips, have half, etc. Good luck!

I did it, but it made me really sick. I passed out. I also still can not eat bacon because I ate so much of it while on Adkins...... and I did it 6 years ago! LOL at least I don't eat bacon anymore, so at least that worked!
