rice acts like a sponge in your stomach it expands. when you were a kid did your mom ever give you bread if you had a tummy ache?same thing absorbs the crap

Rice is a starchy substance that absorbs many acids, so, in your case, it acts as a buffer. And, contrary to your misspelled statement, many people do not have problems eating Mexican food; everyone is different, and, of course, it depends on how well the food is prepared (real Mexican food does not resemble the glop served at most American fast food chains and restaurants).

The more important question is: Why would you continue to eat anything that you know will give you an upset stomach???

Rice contains fiber which is great for your digestive system. Try eating brown rice more often, in addition to supplying 14.0% of the daily value for fiber, a cup of cooked brown rice provides 27.3% of the DV for selenium, an important benefit since many Americans do not get enough selenium in their diets, yet this trace mineral is of fundamental importance to human health. Just one cup of brown rice will provide you with 88.0% of the daily value for manganese.
