I'm 16 and took Creatine Supplements, will it stunt my growth?!

Question: Well I feel really stupid. I was obsessed with getting bigger and bigger, I found these supplements that felt great, my muscles hardened up immediatly and adrenaline just ran through me for my whole work out. It was great. After a week of taking Vertex Formula (8 big pills a day) I read small print that said "Not intended for people under the age of 18". This supplement has 3 different creatines mentioned in ingrediants.. I'm worried. I took this for only a week. 7 days, 8 pills a day, 56 pills... Will this stunt my growth?

First of all the creatine in the product you took has nothing to do with the warning of people taking it under 18. Id have to know what other products were in there to be able to tell you what are dangerous for minors to take, but if I had to guess since you mentioned increased adrenaline I would say probably some sort of energy booster and maybe a testtosterone booster. Secondly, no creatine or anything else in that supplement will stunt your growth. Lastly, and most importantly......do not take any more supplements until you research them completely, read all the warnings and be familiar with every product in it.

EDIT: In my opinioin, and remember Im no doctor, looks like there is no testerone or energy boosters. Only creatine and amino acids. The more intense workout my have been from the stacking effect of the creatine and vanadly sulfate, maybe the quanity you were taking, and that you have never taken supplements before. But, I dont think you have anything to worry about. However, I wouldnt keep taking them until you did some research. The supplement industry isnt regulated by the FDA so you have to be careful that you only buy from reputable companies. When I was your age I used alot EAS products, they were more expensive but seemed to be better quality. Dont forget your talking about something that you are putting into your body, isnt it worht it to pay a little extra for quality? One last thing, remember supplements are just that SUPPLEMENTS...they are only to assist you in reaching your goals, but a good diet, lifting program and research should always come first. Dont look at them like a shortcut only as assistant. Good Luck. And be a little more cautios next time.

idk
