What is a good excuse?!

Question: I want to add as many sports to my resume as possable, but I don't want to play any. I've heard that you have to play a sport for at least two weeks before it will count as you actually playing it. I like to join teams and miss as many practices as I can. I've used my period as an excuse, multiple times but that can only count for one week out of the month. I've been "sick", my dog actually got sick and that took up one day. I've used too much homework, I've even faked injuries during practice so that I could sit out for hours. I need some new material. Can you give me a few good excuses to use?

lol youuu are a funny girl. Why don't you just try playing? It wouldn't hurt to really play them! If you really hate sports, why don't you find a different hobby? It's actually unhealthy and stressful to always need to find excuses..I know cuz I used to always do this too for school.

Anyways, since you must, I've used these excuses for other things. Thing is, the bigger ones were real, and they weren't all for the same person, so if you use too many excuses, no matter how good they sound or how real it was, it's really suspicious..just a heads up k?

Must pick up a relative from the airport at that time.
Must attend a wake.
Got food poisoning
Call when it's starting and tell them you got pulled over so you can't make it (cops sometimes hold you for over 20 minutes)
You got in a car accident
A family member had surgery and you need to be in the hospital to see them
Your car wouldn't start (do you have a crappy car, or do they know what car you drive?)
If it's in the daytime, you've got a doctor's appointment you can't get out of (sometimes waiting lists are a few months)
You got a blister on your toe from "practicing" too much *wink wink*

I know you've already used the sick card..that's the best especially during this season.

Why don't you just participate? It could turn out to be fun..

You are not clever. You are a QUITTER. You are someone who has absolutely no belief in yourself and your ability to perform well. You would rather QUIT than FAIL. The worst of it is, you QUIT BEFORE you FAIL. Your self-esteem is SO LOW, you would rather not play at all instead of allowing people to see the REAL YOU. YOU don't even know who you are. You have never done anything long enough to find out.

Help yourself. Talk to a therapist who can help you believe in yourself, help you develop higher self-esteem.

The path you are on is very harmful and destructive. When you get to the age where employment is essential, the behaviour you have adopted now as being normal is going to be perpetuated. You will go from job to job because you are afraid to fail, afraid someone is going to perform better than you.

My guess is you drop friends BEFORE they have a chance to drop YOU!
