How can I gain weight because I know and I feel that I am too skinny?!

Question: Well i just turned 13 in November~ and my problem is that I can't gain weight. Its like no matter how much I eat, I can't get fat. And that's like very frustrating because I'm like so skinny. I am around 5 foot 2 to 3. And I only weight around 90 something. I just want to gain some weight so that I can look good in my graduation dress ;] Any advice ? Or suggestions? Thanks!

im underweight too but i see a nutritionist

u need to eat MORE CALORIES THEN U BURN TO GAIN WEIGHT...EAT MORE OF THESE TYPES OF SNACKS/FOODS ...

dried fruit(especially raisins)-instead of fresh fruit
-Lean meats
-complex carbs(oatmeal, brown rice, whole wheat bread/pasta)
-peanut butter(put on anything)-or other nuts
-"proto pure" protein bars....each has 300 calories and 32 g protein but are low fat(7-8g), ok carb(around 26), very low sugar(1g), very healthy and delicious...i like the chewy chocolate chip and chocolate deluxe..or the regular "pure" protein bars but they are smaller and only have around 180-200 calories and 20 grams of protein
-loose granola or muesli(as a good snack)
-potatoes and corn instead of greens
-drink BOOST PLUS and ensure plus(the chocolate is the best) they have 350-360 calories each and have alot of vitamins, healthy fats, and the carbs u need...look them up...there is a difference between the regular and the plus...
-milk/other dairy products
-beans/seeds

U HAVE 2 MAKE SURE U DONT BURN WHAT U EAT AND HAVE A HEALTHY SNACK BEFORE BED LIKE A PB&J SANDWICH AND A GLASS OF CHOCOLATE MILK or boost plus

and dont do cardio... and try eating ATLEAST 2500 or more calories...i eat over 5000 calories

chocolate all day, especially after 8 PM

Make sure you are eating a healthy 1500 cals/per day at least. Try to incorporate more lean protein into your diet. You just may have a naturally high metabolism. Dont try to hard or else you may fall into the trap of getting terrible eating habits and gaining way to much later on when the metabolism slows down.

pop tarts are very fattening, also lots of bread builds carbs which helps build fat. just eat every period in school. and help your body out. try some leg muscle machines to help build some muscle to keep you from looking skrawny

i fee the same way sometimes but the thing is not too junk food thats were ppl go wrong they think they have to eat fatty food this is not true and this is not healthy at all!

You probably need to gain a few pounds. Shoot for 10-20 pounds, depending on your frame. If people are saying that, you probably don't look healthy.

Gain weight by eating nutrient-dense, calorie-dense foods, such as cheese, baked potatoes, chili, milkshakes (made with natural ice cream and milk), meat and so on. You need to eat vegetables too, but put olive oil or butter on them. It's best not to eat too much butter, cheese or fatty meat so you don't get excess saturated fat, but some will be fine. Eat as much olive oil as you want, on salads, potatoes, pasta, etc. Olive oil is VERY good for you and will not cause the problems too much animal fat will. Shoot for steady weight gain rather than binging. Do not binge and do not eat junk food other than things like natural ice cream, dark chocolate and maybe a low-fat homemade burger with all the fixings. All those things have good nutrients in them in addition to being kind of decadent.
