it's great to see you're taking an interest in your health! one thing to remember is to eat in moderation. i read in seventeen recently that miley cyrus eats five meals a day for six days, and then she gets one day to eat whatever she wants. that could be a plan for you. snacks i really like that are healthy are: teddy grahams (sounds funny, but they're sooooo good and good for you!), yogurt, and fruit cups. you really just have to find out what you like, and design a healthier diet around those foods. but, you'll get there, i'm sure!

My health is good and I am really fit. No gym or ridiculous equipment in my home anymore, just clean living and eating right. That can last a lifetime...

I eat 3 meals per day, and a couple of snacks. The snacks that I have are things like pears w/cottage cheese, energy bars, protein bars (depending on what my last meal was), an apple or orange, glass of soy milk and a Lunchables, fruit cup, V-8, veggies & dip, handful of favorite nuts, or a half sandwich. The important thing about this is that you sit down and do the whole snack thing, rather that just eating on the go. I really don't know what the difference is, but I do know that things changed when I started that new habit...for the better.
