Am I going Anorexic?!

Question: I know my weight and height is great for my age, (5'2, 103 pounds and I'm 13)

But I keep getting the desire to lose more. I have already lost like 17 pounds in 2 months.....

This is what I do:

-at lunch, I never eat (even in school) & when I see someone eating more than they should, I comment, I also complain & comment on calories. I check boxes at supermarkets for calories, carbs, sodium, and sugars and total fats.
-weigh myself at least 6 times A DAY
-If I go out to eat, I order water & a salad with fat free dressing and no croutons or anything fried
-I'm currently not eating bread, but I'm still getting my nutrients by eating healthy cereal in the morning. Not eating bread has already let me lose 5+ lbs. (all i ate was 100% whole grain wheat, even if I did have bread before)
-I am noticing my ribs coming out of shirts, and my legs are like twigs, though, they are very musclular
-I'm constatly thinking about calories, weight & when people walk by, I try to see how much they weigh

I'd say you're overly concerned with your diet. Long way to go before a diagnosis. You need to realize that at 13 years old, you need to eat a healthy, balanced diet where you get about 20 calories a day per pound of body weight. Like I said in another question, your metabolism is very, very, very high and you need to feed your body. You are what you eat, so eat healthy, but also eat enough.

it may be possible,
its scarying me, even though I don't know you.
talk to your parents and ask them what they think of your weight..

i think you are.. Please.EAT

Yes you are. Its great that you are aware of it. Seek help immediately.

it seems to me that you are a little bit insecure with yourself and therefore feel the need to lose weight. if I were you, I would seek help from a guidance councelor or other trusted adult as a "casual" meeting. it to me like you are going towards becoming anorexic, you just need to stop the problem before it really begins to take over. for now, you need to just enjoy being a thirteen year old girl and not worring about your weight. just be happy that you are naturally so healthy! good luck.=)

JUST DON'T WORRY TO MUCH I WISH I WAS THAT WEIGH AT AGE 13

well the fact that you are still eating is good!! but seriously, DO NOT WORRY ABOUT YOUR WEIGHT THIS MUCH
i have been there done that, i waisted so much time stressing over what i was going to eat or excuses of why i wasn't eating. by the way you described yourself, you are skinny enough.
just remember that the outside doesn't matter in the long run, your friends love you for you and anyone who has a problem with your looks isn't even worth getting attention from.
so go eat!!!!!!!!!

whether you are technically anorexic or not, you definitely have an unhealthy obsession with food and your weight. i would suggest talking to your parents about your issues and thoughts, and then getting some professional health before the problem gets any more serious. good luck... i hope you will be ok.
