What is a good nite time snack for someone who is watching their blood sugar?!

Question: We do not want to eat before going to bed but lets say 2 hours after supper, we eat low fat popcorn as a snack often but would like to change, we have been told fruit is not good at nite but in the morning

The best way to keep your blood sugar stable...don't eat sugar. Protein and low glycemic foods are best at controlling blood glucose issues. My favorite blood glucose, stabilizing snack is a couple of ozs of gouda cheese and berries. Berries are quite low in sugar yet have a refreshingly sweet tart taste and they are high in antioxidants. Sugarfree yogurt is another good choice. Make sure that it is truly low sugar. Fats are also help to stabilize blood sugar so don't fear a yogurt that is higher in fat.

uhh i wouldnt have a night snack if you are watching your bood sugar

Good crunchy vegatables. Or mabye some dry cereal. Of course not the sugary kind. Mabye Cherrios. Or nuts.

I eat nuts. Thats just personal preference.
Its not necessarily the best choice, but I like to drink water and chew on peanuts, or pistachios as a snack.

Maybe try a low sugar oatmeal, a handful of nuts or a slice of cheese with whole grain crackers or maybe a slice of whole grain bread with peanut butter. Try to stay away from processed foods, they tend to have lots of refined flours and sugars in them.
