How long to get the fat off?!

Question: Hey everybody, I'm 6'1 and weight 240 lbs. even though I'm overweight, my limbs aren't flabby; my arms have 17" biceps (circumference), but I have a significant amount of fat around my midsection.

Recently I have started to make sure I eat something small every three hours I'm awake to kick start my metabolism. Also I have taken to doing weighted dumbbell exercises, and some decent cardio every night.

How long do you think it will take for me to lose 20 lbs, not meaning water weight, but noticable loss of fat?

Its different for everyone because people hit it hard and people hit it soft. 30 minutes of cardio a day, and being active with a good diet....id say 2-3 months

You can lose 20lbs in 10 weeks if you burn 1000calories a day more than you consume. At your height and weight your BMR is likely around 2700 so if you stick to around 1700 calories a day you will shed weight very quickly. http://www.alfitness.com.au is a site that helps you work act excactly how much you can eat and the corresponding weight loss.

You can reduce it within months time. you shuld try more liquid intake ( natural / no toxic). avoid soft /hard drinks.

I think it's better if you eat small portions every 6 hours instead of 3 hours if you try to lose 20 lbs. Do lots of cardio exercises. It should take about 2-3 months if you keep up well with it. Drink green tea instead of coffee or pop or hot chocolate.
Good luck.
