What is the best way to lose fat and gain muscle in your hips?!


Question: I have been called Lardass since I was in 7th grade and I am almost 29. It would be nice to finally lose the fat and shake my money maker with out the jiggle. It might seem comical the way I word it, but to make fun of my self is the only way I keep from tears. Thanks.

RUN GIRL RUN
you will have what I call "jiggly ***" when you first start runing- but keep pushing yourself- (start slow so that you don't get discourged) and KEEP GOING!!!!!!

your booty will be in those jeans- and I don't mean the apple bottoms!!!

Now, some tips to get you moving....
1- go get a good sports bra
2- EXCELLENT (not expensive) running shoes are a MUST and they are ONLY your running shoes- not walk around, play, go to the bank really quick shoes
3- find a loop around your house, work, whateva that you can do. When I first started running- for the FIRST time in my life, I re- arranged my LIFE (basically) so that i could run for 45 minutes tuesday and thursday. just like when you were in college and you had a place that you HAD to be at a specific time- you HAVE to run twice a week. I like the loop idea because it is easy to see progress. Now, like I said, you want to start slow..... walk a few minutes- jog to the corner. walk some more, jog to the tree, walk some more, jog to the fence post, etc. you will notice that as your legs, lungs, heart, mind, etc get stronger, you will be able to run to the second tree and only walk 1 minute instead of 3. I also like the loop because the distance is set--- but time isn't. you will watch your time go down down down to the point where you HAVE to add and extra right and left to get to a decent amount of time. (seriously- 20 good, sweating, heart pumping, getting red, breathing hard minutes like you are having screaming-out-loud-you-are-going-to-get-...
4- as soon as you get "bored" with your routine- switch it up- go in reverse direction. find a new routine. go some place new. try a new/ different time. add a day of the week.
5- just don't give up. you are at the point that you are making this change for you. and only you. you are the only one that is being thought of right now. and that is ok. good even. (just wait a week or two until your jean fit better.... and three or four when you HAVE to go get new jean- hey!!!!)

SHAKE IT GIRL!!!!!!!

Just straight up running and light weight training is the fastest way to lose weight from my experience. My freshman year of school I signed up for weight training and the cross country team out of necessity and I went from 125 to 105 pounds in less than three months without even trying... and that was with out changing my diet. Lets just say I love brownies. haha. And I am still able to manage my weight through running and light weight training. Change your diet also, and you will be able to further accelerate that weight loss.

dance baby girl, run, walk fast, and eat the healthy diet, junk food goes right to your butt, so eat veggies fruit, grain breads, and no white foods, like white bread, white rice. Eat lean meats, Hey Jlo loves her butt, ain't no one taking it away from her either. Muscle up girl and be proud of your backside..

running and squats. if you don't have a weight bar across your shoulder use dumbbells at your sides and do squats. And watch what you eat.
