Fat Loss 4 idiots? DON'T DO IT!! I've been on it for 11 days, and have o!

Question: My wife and I thought we'd start a diet plan to loose some belly fat, etc. I'm 35 years old, and lead an active lifestyle. The diet plan of choice, "Fat Loss 4 Idiots". Well, I believe that you have to be an idiot to buy into this "diet plan". This was an actual day's meal plan: Peanuts and walnuts for a meal?? Really?? Turkey slices and Orange Roughy for another meal?? Third meal: a bowl of pinto beans?? Finally, shrimp and boiled eggs for your final meal?? Ewe!

GROSS!!! Basically, never eat until you're full. That's the over all plan. DUH! Ask yourself, "Is giving someone $40 online a good diet plan?? I might lose a pound or two because I'm just sick that SOMEONE out there has my $40 and all I have is a meager 3 lb. loss, probably all water weight, and an uneasy feeling in my belly from eating all these crazy food combinations. GASTRO-INTESTINAL NIGHTMARE!!!

I feel like such an idiot!! (no pun intended) Anyone out there know how to get your money back

I'm sorry for your experience, but your post is a classic example of why it's important to research, research, research weight-loss programs before trying them, and especially before forking over your hard-earned money.

Research has shown over and over that short-term diets do not work, especially those that restrict your eating to particular food groups. And you are quite correct in that the best programs will result in one or two pounds per week of FAT loss, and while three pounds in 11 days might "sound good," it is unlikely that it is actual fat that you have lost.

There are many good guidelines out there on general websites, such as WebMD, Yahoo Health, the NY Times and MSNbc. Basically, it comes down to sleeping well, exercising (which you say that you do) and eating nutritiously (fruits and veggies, whole grains and protein - and limiting sugar and sodium, especially the hidden kinds in many processed foods).

Good luck to you and your wife - don't give up, look upon this as a learning experience!

Okay, losing a quarter of a pound in a single day is a lot... especially when you sit on your asss all day. Imagine a quarter of a pound of flesh just falling to the floor every day. Messy, sure... but puts things into perspective, no? How much do you expect to lose doing what youre doing, not doing what youre not doing?

If you bought it from ebay, threaten to leave negative feedback. Otherwise, just think of it as a lesson learned and eat healthy and exercise.

Fad diets are just that fad's.
There is no miricale cure for looseing weight.
Healthy eating and daily excercise is the cure this is a life style not a diet. The only diet system I would back would be weight watchers becasue it teached you how to loose weight through better choices, portion controll and you can use regular every day food. It costs next to nothing and you can do it on your own.

I have done that diet and lost a few pounds too... Try selecting different foods.... I really don't know how to get your money back. I thought that once you paid you could go back on and pick a different menu plan at any time.

three pounds in eleven days is normal. You shouldnt be losing more that 3 lbs a week. Sorry. nothing is going to take the weight off as fast as you want.

I used to be a diet counselor. What you need to do is Google "diabetic diet." Do that. It is just a healthy way to eat and if everyone ate like this nobody would have any weight problems. Toss this book in the trash. Walk together in the morning before work and again in the evening. You will be amazed how the weight just comes off. Also....you will lose weight faster than your wife. It's a fact. You have testosterone which burns calories and she has estrogen which stores calories. So be supportive for her.

aww...I am sorry...I have checked the website (as you probably did also) and ther doesnt seem to be anyone to contact, no postal or e-mail address, telephone number or anything else...and even if there was I would be suprised if it was active. My only advice would be to contact your source of payment..credit card or paypal and see if they can help...although you did recieve the goods you were paying for and so I dont know if you have much to stand on. At the end of the day you may just have to put it down to experience. You can leave feedback at the bottom of this review page....maybe that will help ease your frustration:-
