My muscles hurt so bad, what can I do?!

Question: Everyday I run my muscles are so tired no matter what I do. I eat so much cheese that it should take care of my tired muscles but they are still tired. I am wondering what food will help with my muscles. I am a VEGETARIAN so I cant eat fish or anything like that. I also dont drink a lot of water, could that have something to do with it?

Not drinking enough water can cause dehydration, which can make your muscles hurt.

Protein is important, but so are the amino acids that make up protein. Your body needs 20 different amino acids, 9 of which it must get from your diet: leucine, isoleucine, valine, threonine, methionine, phenylalanine, tryptophan, lysine, and histidine. If you are relying on cheese alone for your protein, this may be causing your muscle fatigue.

I encourage you to read about vegetarianism, protein sources, and amino acids. It's possible to obtain all 9 amino acids in a vegetarian diet, but you should be familiar with their sources. Try http://www.savvyvegetarian.com/articles/...

Yes, drinking water helps a lot. And, are you stretching? Make sure you do that.

bananas
daily vitamin
stretch
soak in hot bath to relax

I know what really helps me post workout is a PB and Honey on Wheat Sandwich. Gives you a lot of the carbs you want plus gives you a decent amount of protien too.

try the isotonic drink. just a random suggestion though
