Best lunch to eat while on a low-calorie diet?!

Question: I'm on a low-calorie diet and I am looking for something to eat for lunch. I haven't had anything to eat yet today I just woke up about an hour ago. any suggestions?

I was thinking maybe a tuna fish sandwich and some baked chips, but im open to other suggestions

Tuna is good, but the mayo in tuna salad isn't. The protein is good because it will hold off hanger pangs. If you eat the tuna without the mayo, then go for it. Also, egg whites are packed with protein while being low in calories and fat-free! I used to add a drop of yellow food coloring to the whites when I scrambled them to make them look more like real eggs or just drop in part of one yolk but use 3 whites (whenever I scramble eggs, I only use about 1/2 of one yolk to every 3 egg whites - my husband says the eggs taste great and they are fluffier than regular eggs). Lots of protein and food for little calories. Throw in some chopped onions (saute them first if you like) and maybe some bell pepper and eat up. Slice up some tomatoes to go on the side (tomatoes and eggs go well together for some reason) and you've got a great breakfast or lunch (and occasionally dinner). You can throw half a slice of cheese in there too if you have low-fat.

Sugar is worse than fat. Eat healthy fats like avocado, nuts, olive oil. Avoid sugar. Artificial sweeteners are bad too. If you stay off sweets for a couple of weeks, you won't crave it much. If you really want the sweet stuff, use stevia. I like the liquid to add to my drinks. When I crave a soda, I put some lemon juice and stevia in a glass of water, it is very good and satisfying.

Eat whole grains, protein, healthy fats and lots of vegetables and some fruit. For lunch you could have a tuna sandwich on whole wheat bread. Go easy on the mayo, even get mayo from the health food store containing healthy fats. In your tuna, put finely chopped vegetables like tomato, cellery, onion, bell pepper. Good luck with that.
