Is it possible to lose 15-20 pounds in two months?!

Question: I'm 5'5 and weight about 162. I eat between 1200 to 1400 calories per day. I work out 5 to 6 days per week. (running/speed walking for an hour, 20 min on the eliptical, 30 min doing weights, and 15 min doing the stairmaster) I have a cruise March 9th and I want to be in shape. I drink a ton of water, eat fruits, veggies and stay away from sugar. I also make sure to have plenty of fiber and protein.

I think that is quite achievable, especially 15 pounds. Plus if you're working out you'll get a great shape in 2 months. You should notice a difference in a few weeks! Although I'm not going this hard, the article below was great motivation for me. This guy passed himself off as a Chippendale dancer after 6 weeks!!

It sounds like you're doing things sensibly so the weight will stay off and you should feel great. I hope you have a wonderful cruise!

at 5'5" your ideal body weight is 125 lbs. that does not take into account muscle, body type, etc...so you should not drop below like 115-120 really...

it seems like you are doing well...you should never eat less than 1200 calories per day. That is the minimal amount of calories you need in order to get all the vitamins, minerals, and nutrients your body truely needs...

the best way for you to lose extra weight is going to be
1) diet journal - just to make sure you really are eating 1200-1400 calories
2) you have to burn more calories per day = more exercise...
by more i mean longer time doing cardio....you want a moderate tempo, not too fast or you can't go as long...time is the best factor, the longer you exercise, the more calories you burn. Try doing cardio twice a day to break it up....
if you want to look good on vacation you will have to be a little psycho for a few months....
