Today i just started to starv myself, im only 13 and i weigh 47kg.?!

Its your first day, doesn't count for much, you dont have a eating disorder and the fact your writting about it on the internet tell me this is not an eating disorder, more boosting. People with real eating disorders don't boost about it, they hide it, because they don't think anything is wrong with them.

If you want to lose weight get active, its the best way.

47 kilos for a 13 sounds normal, but you may want to check if your weight is good for your height, and don't bother with BMI according to that test, skinny will smith is over weight.

If you want to find if your over weight ask for the skin fold test, its more accurate.

Finally your should tell your mum that you are concerned about your weight, if in fact there is a problem, maybe your mum can help you by cooking you good healthy food.

STUPID STUPID GIRL!!! You have no idea what damage you are doing to yourself. You are going to destroy vital cells in your body, your growth will become stunted, your ability to have children in the future will be at risk, your hair will fall out (oh it will, in big handfulls) you will get sores on your skin, and you will have no energy. Your school work will suffer, your social life will suffer (girls are just as cruel about anorexic people as they are chubby people) and forget about boys - they do not like bags of bones, they like girls with figures. So if you read this and still want to eat sultanas... go for it, its your life (or death).

NO IT'S NOT GOOD FOR YOU!! Though you are still young, I'm sure that at 13 you know that eating 2 sultanas when you are FULLY HUNGRY isn't good for you. Eat a proper meal. Trust me, you don't lost weight by starving yourself. Everything you will eat afterwards your body will store as fat because it fears you won't feed it again for another day. It's the worst thing you can do if you want to lose weight.

I know there is alot of pressure to look thin etc... but it's useless being thin if your dead.

Oh you poor girl. You will get sick if you don't have the proper vitamins minerals and protein . A sparrow eats more than that

Hi :) The answerer above was pretty harsh and unkind - but the facts are true. My sister was anorexic for about 10 years. She ended up with heart problems and became infertile because of it.

If you are say 5'2" then you are well within a healthy weight (right in the middle).

And seriously, I'm in my 30s and I know this for a fact, the guys go head over heels for a girl with shape - a bust, a shape to her bottom, curves. That doesn't mean overweight, but fit and healthy within your normal weight range is a big attraction. Skeletal thin is not attractive at all.

If you do exercise every day and eat sensibly you will get to or stay an ideal weight. If you starve yourself then your body will want to store every calorie it gets - it actually works against you losing weight. Small regular meals help your body and the weight will stay off. Please look after yourself - seriously, there are scary long term implications to starving yourself.

Weighing over 47 kg at 13 could be embarrassing at social occasions and schools. Try this one...

Eat balanced food - protein, some fat, lot of fruits, salads...

Do some strenuous exercise - short bouts of running daily.

Benefit from safe herbal remedies like guggul, garcinia cambogia etc...

Don't starve, eat right, exercise and free ur mind of overweight consciousness....

You sound the ideal weight for your age to me. Why do you want to lose weight? You should not try to lose weight without seeing a doctor first anyway. A lot of people try to lose weight too quickly, and it actually makes them gain more weight later, so you need to be very careful. Your body would remember starvation and would then think it is time to store fat, so you would have real big problems! So, get some real advice first. Remembering to eat healthy foods is more important at your age, as you are growing up really fast. Good luck, and please see a doctor. I'm a mum and I would be really worried if my teen was doing this without seeing a doctor first.

Um, ok PLEASE STOP NOW unless you want your life to be hell. You're only 13..you aren't meant to be worrying about weight or dieting or how thin you are. You're young and you're meant to be having fun..DON'T do down the path of an eating disorder! There are HEALTHY ways to lose weight!

Well, if I were you I would stop. Would your mum be happy that your doing this? No of course no parent would be happy of that. No, its not good.

Please tell us, why are you doing this? Peer pressure? If it is ignore them and find another group. Or is there an idol you like (for example Liz Hurley, coz she eats 6 sultanas for lunch and cries at night coz she is so hungry) if there is, I suggest that you put your favourite idol away and move to another better person, maybe Delta Goodrem or Ashley Tisdale or Dakota Fanning (shes 13, 14 in Feb) or maybe Miley Cyrus, those are just names that are on the top of my head PLUS they are really good and have done no bad things. Or is this because you don't have enough food at home? If thats the case, just buy any of those branded titles like coles, homebrand, etc coz they dont cost much and they are healthy.

Please stop, you may become anorexic and have reading problems and you wouldn't act normally at school. You may faint or collapse or sleep during class or PE or worse in swimming. You won't be able to control yourself nor would you be healthy.

I must say, if your bones are showing/sticking out, eat more! EAT MORE! or if this is (bones sticking out) is from a hobby that you do (say ballet or gym) I suggest and I reckon everyone here would want you to CHANGE your hobby to something else.

If there is any problems, I suggest you talk to your parents, a suportive adult, a sibling, school counciller, a friend (preferably a BESTIE) or better Kids Help Line. You can remain annoyamous but talk to a counsler over the phone. They really help and are ALWAYS open 24/7. Recommended.
