How can I lose 5-8 lbs in about a month?!


Question: my friend is 12. She's 4'11 and weighs about 105. shes wants to lose about five lbs before her birthday party witch is in about a month. she wanted me to ask yall. dont suggest crash diets like bulimia or anorexia. also she doesnt want anything confusing or like jenny craig where she has to buy all this food. she wants to be able to keep the weight off tille she gets taller so nothing where shell gain it back in like 3 months. okay byezz

if you want to lose weight i suggest you cut down on junk food and fizzy drinks in your diet and eventually cut these out. You could also try eating less carbs as these supply vast amounts of energy that is slowly released and if this energy is not used up you will put on weight. I would also advise you not to eat late as this means our body's store more of the energy as fat as we don't use that much energy when sleeping.

You should be aiming to get at least 1 hour of cardio a day so i would say to do some running, swimming or cycling. If you chose to cycle then try to stand up while cycling as this tones the thighs more.

Another way to help you lose weight quicker is to boost your metabolism so you burn more calories throughout the day. A good way to boost your metabolism is to get more muscle mass to body fat, to do this do sit-ups, crunches and press-ups if you want get a set of weights and follow the instructions that should come with them. At first you may put on weight as muscle weighs more than fat but keep to it and you'll look better, Another way is to exercise in the morning as this boosts the metabolism and this falls very slowly which will mean you'll burn more calories throughout the day.

at that height her weight is fine, she may accidentally develop an eating disorder if she sees herself as overweight now

Along with all the other stuff, you should drink alot of water. It fills you up so you dont eat so much and it is healthy.

to get started no soda drink a gallon of water a day spring or distill no tap water!! or crystal light for your meals.

Breakfast eat 3 egg whites or oatmeal and a fruit.

Lunch eat a grilled chicken breast vegetables with light oil 1 teaspoon and a fruit.

Dinner eat a tuna or chicken salad / grilled or broil chicken breast with Mrs. Dash on it and a small cut of vegetables and a fruit.

no eating after 7pm !!

do 250 sit-ups in the morning and 250 sit-ups before bed.
Do leg squats against the wall 3 sets of 20 once every other day.

Walk for 30 minutes twice a day or jog in the house for 30 minutes if the weather is bad out.
Ride a treadmill for 20-30 minutes a day and that should do it. Make sure you do this through out the day not all at once.


Try this for 4 weeks and see the difference only if you really want to loose weight.
