Answers: well if it's not going to cause you any health problems, go for it! :)

**** no, I'm right where I should be now, but in 20 years (I'll be 40) I know I'm gonna way no less than 250 and it'll all be fat, I'm actually kinda looking foward to it.

Not to mention being overweight can also mean your more muscluar than normal, which is good.

Being 10 pounds overweight is no biggie. Just be careful. If your BMI exceeds 25 AND your body fat is over 20%, that's not healthy. Most people who are 10 pounds overweight are still below 25 on the BMI and still below 20% body fat though.

Well, it depends. Is the 10 lbs fat or muscle?

According to the BMI charts, based on my height, I'm considered extremely overweight, but being that I'm in the gym 4-5 times a week and doing heavy weight, the additional 'weight' is actually muscle, and not fat. Another indicator is to have your body fat % calculated. If it's really low, then who cares what the number is on the scale.

I say do away with scales and charts. How do you look in the mirror? Do you like what you see?
