Is it bad to neglect the cardio when lifting weights 5 days a week for 2 rs?!

Cardio exercises burn fat. Lifting do muscles, which is the best place for fat bur.
The best you can do is to combine both exercises. I would suggest you to start with 3-5 min. cardio, than do lifting and finish with 10-15 min cardio. Within the last cardio you will burn fat all the time.
