Loosing some weight?!

I have 4week break and i'm planning to loose about 5 to 10 pounds during the break.
Does swimming swimming everyday actually help?
or do you guys have other suggestions? like pushups or situps somethin like that?

5 to 10 pounds is too much for 4 weeks. However, 4 weeks is enough time to start getting toned. The scale may not say it, but your body will show a difference in definition by 4 weeks. You Should do swimming for cardio to melt off the fat and pushup/situps/crunches/weights to build muscle.

PS You may not notice your changes. But take a picture of yourself before your workout, ie abs/arms/legs/whatever. Then take another set at the end of 4 weeks. This is a great way to motivate yourself. Good luck!

Go biking.
Play tennis.
And yes swimming will help.

Push ups and sit ups will tone you up - but they won't make you lose weight.

And also by working out - you will probably gain muscle. So don't look at the scales - look at your body!

Swimming would definately be helpful.It would be good to mix it up a bit.Like swim three days a week,bike or walk three days a week and take one day a week off.It helps you lose faster if you trade off on exercise like this.

if u go swimming u might lose about 1-3kgs

Do both. Swim, row, cycle or run for 30 to 40 mins at least 3 times a week. Right after your cardio exercise, do push ups, pull ups, squats and sit ups. 10 reps each set and do 3 sets. Also, reduce bit of carbohydrate intake and eat lots of fruits and veges.

I lost 17.5 lbs in 8 weeks by brisk walking for 30mins 4 times a week and being on a good diet. I've stopped eating fried foods and sweets, reduced carbo intake by half, ate lots of fruits and veges.

Dude it doesn't matter what you do as long as your moving, being very active, and staying away from the kitchen as long as you can. Swiming is a good way to burn lots of fat and calories. Just do any sport you want.

Drink a big cup of your favorite HOT Green Tea with Splenda or any other artificial sweetener. It helps alot !

Try to do yoga to lose,you will lose weight and feel energetic.
