Question about toning/losing fat?!

Question: Hi everyone,
I love to workout with weights and I do frequently..the only problem is that I LOVE to eat, I come from an Italian family and it just the way of life...Im 6'0 and 195 pounds..I know I have muscles in my arms, chest etc but it seems like they dont show as much because I have some extra fat..If I were to work out hard at cardio and try to eat lighter meals would my body tone up and those muscles show or would I lose the weight and the muscle at the same time? I realyl just want my body toned so I can see all my hard work with weights to show.

Thanks guys

You're not going to lose any muscle by doing cardio, you'll gain muscle. In order to see the muscle you have to shrink the fat cells covering the muscle.

Make sure to change up your cardio from time to time or your body will get used to it and plateau. Also, drinking protein shakes helps with healing muscles as well as providing you with lean healthy calories and nutrients.
