Is my diet healthy?!


Question: my diet. i go school so we have break and lunch

breakfast- dont have it
break-vicount
lunch- 2 slices of bread and butter
snacks- apples, grapes, yoghurts, cerials

i dont have dinner but is that important?
i weigh 102 pounds, 5ft3 and 15

Your diet is missing key food groups. WHERES the protein child? haha my suggestion is to eat something!. Im not saying you have to eat cookies,cake, and other junk foods. Just try healthy alternatives, like fish! its a very lean protein with very few calories considering its nutritional content! also eating breakfast (not toaster struddles or something but something nutritious) helps lose weight/ maintain a healthy weight. Try eating some special K in the morning, and i suggest chocolatey delight! Its DELICIOUS, nutritious, and low calorie/fat.

I suggest a day like this:
breakfast: special k (milk is up to you)/ or maybe a nutrigrain bar or a slim fast breakfast bar

break: maybe a 100 calorie snack like oreo crisps. they are yummy and only 100 calories! or a 100 calorie pack of cheetos

Lunch: Bread and butter is not enough. try a plain bagel! bagels dont have many calories at all. you can have water, a bagel *optional cream cheese/butter/peanutbutter", and some fruit like oranges and bananas!

Dinner: A lean piece of fish, and whatever vegetable your mom probably is making. or a small piece of baked chicken!

after-dinner snack: try a 100 calorie bag of popcorn! or maybe some apples with caramel. that way you have something sweet with not many calories at all.


(if you work out/ play alot of sports you would need more food than this)

I wouldnt say you're weight it unhealthy if you havent hit your period, but around 108 would be healthier. and i know this may seem like a ton more food than your used to, but i eat around the same ammount and im almost 5'6" and about 112 pounds, and im 15 just like you! =] I understand though i try to "diet" all the time but i find im always happy when i eat a little chocolate everyday and eat when i want to!




oh yeah and fyi i used a bmi site, it says you are 18.1. according to the site <18.5 is underweight. I wouldn't be alarmed, there is nothing wrong with thin but make sure you are getting enough nutrition to be healthy!

so no dinner, no breakfast...WOW you need to eat. You should be eating breakfast, lunch, snack, dinner and then another snack. I mean, at-least have breakfast, that's the most important meal of the day! (you might improve in school) Seriously coun't calories, you should have 2000

You should eat breakfast and dinner, those are a part of what makes you healthy. If you are 5'3 and you only weigh 105, that isn't SO bad, but it's a little under average. I woud say eat a light breakfast (maybe a small bowl of cereal or a cup of yougurt) and for dinner, eat whatever you feel is dinnerish, but don't overdo it! Don't you get tired of bread and butter everyday? You might want to switch it up. You can't be getting everything your body needs eating that way. Just make a few changes.

You don't eat enough. Add breakfast to your plan and eat more protein.

u need more food...and breakfast is the most important meal of the day! dinner is important too...
