I'm looking for a vitamin that won't make me nausea all day.?!

Question: I've tried Centrum, One a day and even a genertic brand. Still makes me sick all day. I've tried cutting them in half and it still makes my stomach turn. Anyone know of a different brand that might help?

I've tried those and they have given me indigestion. I don't usually like the typical store brands. What's best is to take is a vitamin that is of better quality. I know this brand "Twinlab" is much better quality, you can just look at the ingredients and see. They sell them in many stores, you don't have to go to a health store to get them. Also the vitamins come in the form of a clear capsule with powdered form of the vitamin inside. That is what you need to get, the powdered form in a capsule, easier to digest. This might solve the problem, not a guarantee but definately worth trying. Make sure you take with a meal. Nature's Way is another good brand. Both brands even sell vitamins in like half-doses, in case you would prefer, cause it might help take a smaller dose spread out, like one in the morning, then evening, or just one for the whole day.

Here is a great site that has all the higher quality brands. You can get many in stores, but incase you just want an idea of what to look for, check it out if you like: http://www.vitacost.com/Vitamins

Oh, I forgot to mention- At some times, I've taken Flinstone's chewable vitamins, the ones called "Flinstone's Complete." Adults can actually take them, and whats good is that since they're chewable, you can cut them or take a little extra if you don't think the regular dose is enough, but it should be. They also didnt seem to bother my stomach or give me indigestion! I prefer them to any other typical store brand, seriously! So if you can't find those higher quality brands, you might want to try these in the meantime.

I'm often sensitive to vitamins and have never had trouble with Centrum - are you taking them with food?? If not, you should be. And I try to avoid taking them with tea or coffee.

You may want to try the food based type vitamins - check them out at a health food store, you usually take multiple pills during the day.

Eat before you take them that may help, or take them at night. I find I get sick if I take them in the morning and if I haven't eaten.

A well balanced diet and you don't need vitamins. Save yourself the money and the nausea.
