Why it gets harder to loose weight after the second week?!

Question: weight lost the first 10 days of a new diet is about 99% water weight. it typically takes 3-4 weeks on a balanced diet of sufficient calories and nutrients before measurable fat loss occurs through body fat analysis.

the human body does not rapidly transition from the state of fat storage to that of accelerated fat loss, it goes against human biology. it takes time for fat storage to occur and even more time to decrease fat stores.

Because you get bored with the lack of, or taste of food you are eating.
Because there is a great movie or tv show on when I should be at the gym.
Because you have no support system, or a person doing it with you who is motivated.
Because you have no will - like me! I just have absolutely no willpower or staying power!

There are a million reasons.

I think you start getting bored with what you are eating.

Plus it's harder because your body is getting used to your new eating habits... Make sure you change up your food and try not to eat the same thing all of the time....

Because you body gets used with the particular diet. Dietitians know that and change every 2 weeks the diet of their patients.
I suggest everybody here on a diet to change the diet (even working) after the second week.

because the first week is mostly water weight. You'r body needs time to adjust to the new foods. You change your eating habits and your body gets confused so it stores energy (as fat) until it realizes it's getting enough nutrients.
