Do more of whatever you're doing. If you're walking a mile a day, walk two. If you're exercising for a half an hour, do an hour. Ramp up the intensity of your exercise routine. Check to see if your calorie intake is appropriate for your new size. I am a member of a free weight support website, and they suggest adjusting your calorie intake as you lose weight, so that you gradually scale down your calories, making it easier to live with your new lifestyle. Anyone with a lot of weight to lose will hit a plateau at some time in their journey, so just keep doing the healthy things, and ramp up the exercise. You could even add another exercise to your routine maybe a couple of times a week. You could do an hour of dancing three times a week, walking two miles five times a week, and strength training (weights) two times a week. I do Curves right now, but there will come a time when that won't be enough, so I'll have to add more to my routine. Here is the free website I told you about:

  • the best solution i think is to keep on eating well and working out.

up your game when exercising. its the only way.
your body has become used to your exercise routine, now u really have to challenge yourself so u start feeling the burn like you did when you first started.

Try a peronal trainer even for just a few sessions to get a good idea of new and better things to do.

    goodluck

Well, once you get to a plateau you need to stop worrying about lbs. You have reached the point where you are doing what is known as body-sculpting. You need be more conscius of inches now. Also, a Body Mass Indexing calculation will seve you better. You really need to check what your body / fat ratios are. There are lots of resources for this kind of stuff but be careful to not be fooled into using steroids.

    Increase your work-out intensity slightly....

Congratulations! You will lose again. Are you walking? This is the best energy booster!

ok, I was on a plateau too, eat the same amount of calories only eat different foods, & exercising at different times of the day, see our body get use to the routine of a diet, & stop losing weight so you need to do things diffrently everyday, it will make you lose more weight.
