If i were to replace my normal meals with fruits only, is that a healthy diet ?!

Question: Absolutely not. You need to eat balanced meals. Make sure to have a fat, protein, and carb at every meal. Good luck and don't go on any funny diets!

I guess not.eating to much fruits is not healthy too hunny..

YA but you need protien from nuts or meat.

no

No, its not healthy. Besides fruit being high in sugar, you need to eat a balanced diet of all food groups, or risk becoming malnourished.

nope, you wouldn't get the nutrition you need. You have to add vegetables and fibers.

every separate food group has its values. to eliminate all but one of them would definitely not be healthy.

Tis not balanced.
maybe if breakfast was 3/4 fruit, lunch was 1/2 fruit and dinner was 1/4 fruit

check with your doctor

i think that the body is designed to have a variety of foods so that you can get all the necessary vitamins you need. eat well and watch your portion size.

Well not really b/c you are just getting fruits only into your diet. & DIETS DONT WORK! ITS A TOTAL LIFE CHANGE!
You have to include balanced fruits, veggies, meats, cheeses, milk, bread, nuts into your diet and alot of water. NO POP DRINKS!!!!! ONLY WATER!

NO..

No because of lack of protein and perhaps lack of fat needed for nerve tissue.
Get a book or do an internet look on vegetarian eating and the need to balance kinds of proteins (beans and rice for example) because of humans inability to make certain proteins we normally get from meat.

no!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No...your body requires a certain amount of fat every day. If you take it away you're risking gaining weight because your body will go into starvation mode, as it is being denied the simple basic needs.

Fruit is VERY high in sugar (even if they are naturally occurring) and that will mess with your blood sugar levels and could trigger diabetes.

Your body requires a great many things, that is why we have a food pyramid to help you realize what you need. Whole grain is the most important part of any diet and yes, I know it's carbohydrates, but your body converts carbohydrates into ENERGY.

No, it would be very unhealthy. A balanced diet is best and includes all the major food groups. Even a vegetarion diet can be lacking in certain proteins that may cause problems.

It isn't in the long run. Fruits do contain good carbs, fiber and vitamin C but dairy products contian other things that your body needs too. If you want to loose some wieght quickly then it's a quick fix diet.

Adam and eve did it....and lived well...I did it for four months and lost absolutely all the unwanted fat in my body, however, I would say, include some protein and nuts and vegetables.

Only if you are are wanting to be on the news at 6 Person tries to live like a monkey on bananas only diet

It does sound kind of stupid don't it

too much of anything is bad. that's why they have that health pyramid of food groups in them to tell people how they can benefit from different types of food like rice, bean, dairy items and meats.

you would also get fat from the sugar so no

You need to have vegetables too in your diet. If you read the book "21 lbs in 21 days" it should show you a plethora of ways to detox or eat a sensible replacement of more nutritious meals.

People have made shakes from fruit without the sugar as a replacement for breakfast without the preservatives of powdered protein. But natural proteins comes from legumes or soy products, which are beneficial too you.

If your diet consists of vegetables, fruits, and protein rich products that do not have animal by products or meat, you're on your way to a healthy you. If you become anemic, eat more protein rich foods, such as black beans, and broccoli, which will higher up your iron. Don't forget lots of walks in good sunlight with good sunscreen which is a good source of vitamin D.

very good!

No, eat food from the 4 food groups.

no!
