For weight-loss and general health purposes, what do you think of this diet?!

Question: I'm not overweight as such - my BMI is 24.6, so I'm at the top end of normal - but I do want to drop a couple of kg. I've started walking home from work (about 55min) when it's not raining, and am hoping that making some changes in my diet will help. However, I don't want to be a crazy fad diet person, I'd rather take the weight off by upping my exercise, and I'm also just trying to eat a healthy diet in general. What do you think of:

Breakfast: small bowl of instant porridge (Readybrek), made with skim milk, and a Vie (100ml fruit/veg puree shot, claims to boost your daily fruit/veg intake by half)
Snack: apple and coffee with skim milk.
Lunch: bowl of frozen veggies, peas or stir-fry mix, cooked in microwave and tossed with a low-fat spray balsamic dressing.
Dinner: meat & three veg, eg. grilled chicken breast with roast potato, parsnip and carrot and steamed beans.
Evening (at present post-Christmas) - a couple of Lindt chocolates!

The average person should lose weight on the diet and exercise regime proposed. It's doubtful if the intake of dairy products will be sufficient, some cheese, butter or whole fat milk is needed.
Consider also eating some oily fish, salmon, sardines or herrings to boost intake of omega 3.In addition a vitamin supplement would be useful.
