No energy! any good snacks??!


Question: Hey! I'm 14 and I'm eating healthy and exercise so i can lose some weight. But during the afternoon, i'm feeling tired and i have no energy to do my homework! Are there any snacks that will give me lots of energy that you tried but are low in calories?
If you know some foods too then please tell me!

Hey good for you you want to do homework,!!! when you get home from school you need a protein snack,,peanut butter and crakers and a glass of milk is the best really !!try this,,or try silly as it sounds a bowl of cereal ,,,no fast food ever after school,,you will see the change after just one week,try to remember the "onl;y twice a week fast food rule"otherwise pack lunch,,or take leftovers,you will be thankful when you are the best in shape 14 year old in your class!!!

try trail mix, the nuts are full of protein and will give you an enery boost

I'd like to know some healthy snacks too. Celery would be a good choice, even with a little peanutt butter. Celery contains and acid in it which breaks down the calories actually contained in celery, which aren't much to begin with anyway, so it's a good choice. leafy vegetables, carrots, and healthy crackers are a good idea too. drink plenty of water and maybe a cup of greentea. goodluck

Raisins with semi sweet chocolate chips only 1/4 cup though. Also Trail mix is very high in energy. Anything with protein is energy increase.

eat something with fast acting carbs such as an apple or orange,im not sure of the calory count bt i kno its not much
(tip: u should eat carbs w/ protein b/c wen carbs alone run out u can become cranky bt protein keeps u in balance)

carrots are very good for u and high in beta carotene and you may want to try drinking v8 juice as well and cut down on the pop and cut down on any energy drinks as with alot of energy drinks they boost you up for awhile then slow ur metabolism down towards the end of the day eating vegetables and alot of greenery or going on a organic diet is very healthy i no this b/c this is what i have done and it has improved my oveer haul health dramatically i wish you the very best with yours and i hope this works and if i can better assist you plz feel free to let me no
