What is a non addictive laxative or softener I can take daily?!

Question: I started taking a multi vitamin and also drink a protein shake every evening in hopes of gaining healthy weight and to help my hair, skin and nails, but I noticed the other day that my vitamins have 100% iron and my shakes have another 25%...Well...it's been a little difficult, needless to say. Is there such a thing as a non addictive laxative? Or maybe a fiber supplement that actually works?

I would suggest using only natural laxatives like epsom salt or warming prune juice and drinking it. Those work phenomenally! Remember to drink 8-10 glasses of water since you have had an increase in iron.

Eat more of these raw vegetables: Carrots, cauliflower, broccoli & celery.

in many hospitals & nursing homes, they use "power pudding". You mix raw miller's bran (from the grocery or health food store), unsweetened applesauce & prune juice to a consistency of a rather thick oatmeal. Take one to two tablespoons a day with meals. It takes a day or so to start working, & you need to use it regularly, not just "in an emergency". We found that you can take more, but be sure you have adequate fluid intake, too. Personally I swear by quick (not instant) oatmeal with a quarter cup of raisins plumped in the water. Whatever, good luck!
